Onkyo 600 - No Dolby Digital??????? (1 Viewer)

What could I have done wrong? Just setup my Onkyo 600 and unable to select Dolby Digital anywhere. Press the surround button and it cycles thru all of the Pro Logic 2 and DTS NEO selections no matter which video output I select, have never seen the Dolby Digital light turn on. Every other audio selection sounds good, but I want to experience DD.

Do you have a DD source playing when you're cycling? Some modes will not light on many receivers without an active source.

Make sure that the dvd player is set up to put out the DD signal.

make sure your dvd player is set to bitstream or another setting that activates the digital output. then make sure you have either an optical or coax digital connection. then make sure your receiver is set to auto.

That was it! Set dvd to bitstream, all ok! Thanks for the responses.
