I recently moved into a new house and set up my surround system, One of my front speakers is not working. I am not certain, but I think the center speaker is also not working.
As fot he front speaker, I verified that the speaker works by wiring it to the other front speaker position. I also checked the wiring at the reciever to verify it was hooked up correctly. Since I do not have any wire left, I do not have a way to replace the wire run from the reciever to the speaker to see if it is the wire itself.
I tried pluggin the center into another spot and no luck. I tried plugging another speaker into the centert and it worked, So I am fairly certain my speaker is broken.
So, how can I continue to troubleshoot the problem with my front speaker position?
I have a 7.1 Onkyo system I bought in a box. It is about 5 years old. I am usre of the exact model #.
Thanks for your help.
