I only recently (few months ago) upgraded my computer so that I could play the latest games (My last computer could barely run Quake 2 on the minimum graphical settings [IMG])! I've always loved First Person Shooters, and boy did I choose one great year to upgrade!

So far we've had Aliens vs. Predator 2 with wasn't particularly well-liked by most, but IMO had an absolutely unbelievable single player game. Also, with all the patches they're been releasing, the multiplayer is shaping up very nicely, with the latest major addition, the ability to play as a Queen alien or a Marine in an exo-suit. [IMG]

Return to Castle Wolfenstein with good single player missions, but absolutely astonishingly awesome multiplayer. (I suppose these technically come under last year, but I've been playing them for the past 2 months, so they still count! :p))

Last week came the cinematic brilliance of Medal of Honor Allied Assault, featuring some of the best script-action coordinated missions ever created, and breathtaking level and sound design.

Next up, we've got Star Wars: Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast. Which looks UNBELIEVABLE from the screen shots. Boy, this one is an exciting release.

Soon after is Soldier of Fortune 2: Double Helix.

I don't know if Mafia is an FPS or not. But it sure as hell looks good!

The sequel Unreal 2 looks like it could easily be crowned king of the monster-smashers, when its released in June.

And we should get Duke Nukem Forever as soon as hell freezes over!

Also, does anyone know how to scale down the screen shots so that they're all the same (smaller) size? [IMG] I don't know the vB code very well.

Any one of those seven screen shots exceeds the HTF's 40K limit on image links. I've converted them to URLs. Please remember that not all members have high-speed connections and will wait forever for this thread to load.

After playing the first one I was all ready for Serious Sam: The Second Encounter, only problem that I found after playing the demo was that it offered nothing really new

too bad it's a great deal, and the graphics are nice.
