If they released the restoration on BD, it would be a no-brainer day-and-date purchase for me. Yes the DVD I have looks good. But based on the wonders a proper restoration can do, coupled with the superior picture and audio quality of Blu-Ray, I wouldn't think twice of re-purchasing this wonderful film (although I personally feel The Good, The Bad & The Ugly is Leone's best film).
