Old School Question - XBR250 and HDTV? (1 Viewer)

I've got a 36" XBR250 that has been a great set, but I'm now at the point where the jump to HD is imminent - is there any way to get an HD pic on this set? I fear the answer is 'no', but thought I'd ask. Thanks for any help you can provide.

YOu can get an HD image that has been downconverted into S-video by the STB.

What is the process / equipment necessary to downconvert as you described, and what is the quality of the picture after such a conversion?

Most HD set top boxes do this ... and the quality is sort of like Svideo from DVD but slightly less so ...

Much better than watching the normal analog channel of the same program.
