It looks like 95 to me. Could be cool, but I don't think it'll be enough to get me to buy a system. I do still have all my Genesis games which I can always fire up.

Please let me be wrong on this, but I have a feeling the games are going to play like the SNES versions. While graphically similar to the Genesis, the gameplay was slow and unresponsive.

EB World says this ships today, meaning it'll probably be in their stores tomorrow...

MatS, a man of few words [IMG], you can tell us more about it? Do you need two games to play coop? How are the graphics? Gameplay?

Ryan from what I understand it uses the old SNES/Genesis gaming engine from NHL 98 I believe. I never played that year for those systems as I had graduated on to bigger and better consoles. I was a HUGE fan of NHL93 the original for the Genesis system.

Yes you need 2 games to play with the link cable.

Graphics as far as I can tell are completely accurate to the old console version. Even better is the fact the ice is the light shade of blue so that the problems that plague most darker games due to no built in light is not a problem here. Gameplay is surprisingly smooth with no slow down on the screen at all.
