    Hi all,

What is the original frame rate of old Disney films, like the ones on The Chronological Donald vol.1 (1934-1941) ?
When they do the PAL (25fps) and NTSC (30fps) transfers, which one ends up looking smoother and closer to the original?

They're all 24 fps. PAL does look smoother, and it's also a hair more detailed, but it runs 4% too fast, and the sound is also is pitched a hair too high if they didn't lower the pitch back to normal when they mastered it.

You'll find varying opinions here on which is better -- PAL or NTSC. You have to decide for yourself.
