I'm looking at both the Outlaw 755 and 770 and making an assumption(perhaps incorrectly) that the torroids are the same size/va rating in both amps. The obvious question: If the two torroids are only sharing 2 and 3 channels respectively in the 755, and 3 and 4 channels in the 770, wouldn't it be considerably easier for the 755 to output full rated power to all channels simultaneously than for the 770 to do the same?

Enlightenment appreciated

I think what's more likely is that the bigger amp has bigger/higher rated transformers. Also, let's assume for a second that they do share toroids. If full rated power in both cases is well within the capacity of the transformers, then one won't really be doing it "more easily" than the other. If full output power gets close to the limit of the toroid, then your statement would be true.

So, bottom line - without knowing more about what transformers are in those amps, this is not much more than speculation.
