    Seriously,

I've never had one of these...

    The reasons being are:

1.In my huge family (Aunts,Uncles,Grandparents) children who are not allowed to drink this beverage because it is "Big kid stuff"

2.My parents are always talking about the "Yahoo chocolate milk incident" in which one of my cousins did something with Yahoo..

Is this stuff merely coincidence, or evidence of something else?

Please help me, a spoiled, sheltered, teenager with this question..

    Nathan

Actually I think the product you are referring to is called Yoohoo.
    Isn't it carbonated chocolate milk?

I'm pretty sure Yoohoo is made out of water, vegetable fat, and 'chocolate' syrup.

Yoo-hoo is one of the greatest drinks ever invented. I've been drinking it ever since I was a young lad growing up in New York. I could drink that stuff for days. [IMG] I even own a Yoo-hoo t-shirt to prove that it's one of the greatest drinks of all time. [IMG]

Personally, I think Yoohoo and Ovaltine taste like crap. I like Nestle Quick. That's the best chocolate milk your money can buy. Hersheys is second.

This stuff is really hard to find up here in Canada, but once in NY, I drank 12 cans in one night. [IMG]

There is no milk in YooHoo. Notice it is called YooHoo chocolate "drink". It's definitely not carbonated.

    From the Yoo-hoo site:
Is Yoo-hoo considered a dairy product (does it contain milk?)
While Yoo-hoo is definitely not considered a flavored milk, it does contain certain ingredients from milk - specifically, dairy whey and non-fat milk. If you are allergic to milk products or on a diet that does not permit milk-products, please check with your doctor or nutritionist to be sure.

Never tried the stuff, personally. Can't say that I want to, either (especially the chocolate-banana version.)

Yoo-hoo is O.K., but it's no Nestle's Quik or Hershey's chocolate milk. The latter two are boss. [IMG]

A woman I ride the train with was telling me that when she needs a boost, she'll squirt some Hershey's syrup into her mouth, and then take a slug of milk.

Must admit, I've never done that myself.

I've never had a Yoohoo, but my wife says they're good...

I've never cared for Nestlie Quik and Hershey's much. Quik always seemed to have a metallic taste and Hershey's is too bitter for me.
By the by, I like the Chocolate/Banana YooHoo. [IMG]
