I just saw an interview with Orlando Bloom. It looks like he is a new Movie "Kingdom of Heaven" or something Like that.

They showed a part of the movie which is a

    HUGE EPIC BATTLE SCENE.

I wonder if Orlando is getting sick of doing movies with these types of scenes.

    anyone

He might be getting sick of it, but he definitely isn't sick of the big money that comes along with it.

Nah, he's not sick of it. He's probably thinking "those girls are going to drool over me in this scene."

He's still new as an actor so I'm sure he's enjoying the moments.

Its a job. Do you think the guy at pizza shack ever said to himself "Aww, another extra-large supreme deep dish pizza order. I wish more people would just ask for cheese".? Besides, with big action scenes the actors dont have to emote as hard, the CGI takes center stage. So they can get drunk the night before [IMG]

As long as they keep putting the X's on the ground, Bloom will know where to stand during those scenes.

What I was getting at was that there are sooooo many movies coming out lately that have the HUGE EPIC BATTLE SCENE. I think its the new Trend in HollyWood

    Lord of the rings Triligy

    Troy

    King Arthur

    Alexander

    Kingdom of heaven

I like that this one is being done by the guy who brought us Gladiator. That shows that there may be promise (as opposed to the last few epic films. King Arthur, Alexander and to some extent, Troy) and maybe Bloom sees that promise as well.

Ridley Scott. I read somewhere that he actually wanted Paul Bettany for the role but was overruled by suits who thought Bloom would improve the marketability.

Bloom is also a lead in the romantic drama this summer by who-dat Cameron Crowe.

    Yes, THE Cameron Crowe.

Besides, who says no to a Ridley Scott epic. LOTR and POTC worked out for him as well.

    No comment on Troy [IMG]

    Take care,

I'm just shocked that Keira Knightley isn't in it! [IMG]

She's Hollywood's new darling of the period piece, much like Winona Ryder and Kate Winslet before her.
