All I'm going to say is this, the conversation at the pearly gates is going to be interesting.
I hope Leslie Nielsen is the first to intercept him with a phone call.

Nielsen: O.J., a phone call from hell is here for you.
O.J.: Hell? What is it…?
Nielsen: It’s a fiery place where murders go to suffer, but that’s not important right now…

As much as I enjoyed "The Naked Gun" trilogy of movies and would've been revisited many, many times, I can't watch them because of Simpson. I've tried several times but as soon as his character Nordberg appears, off the movie goes. I am repulsed. Even his old commercials disgust. There's no way I can laugh with or even at that brutal murderer in anything.

Its always been easier for me to take seeing SImpson again in a dramatic role (Towering Inferno, Capricorn One) and I can certainly handle watching an old NFL game with him. But the Naked Gun stuff has been unseen by me since 1994 and I can never look at them again because when its a comedy that's when I can't suspend disbelief. Even if I mocked him as I watched, it would still be bad taste from my standpoint.

I haven’t seen The Naked Gun movies a plethora of times, but I don’t seem to remember his character having a particularly large amount of screen time.

If you don't have anything nice to say about a person...
The MSM paint him as a saint, the opposite paint him for what he truly was
I've never seen him painted in the mainstream media as a saint. The general consensus has long been that he got away with murder.

I will say that his trial is an example of the difference between "not guilty" and "innocent". The defense was able to use the LAPD's reputation for racism and misconduct to create reasonable doubt in the juror's minds. The jury wasn't asked to decide whether Simpson committed the murders or not, only whether a reasonable person might have doubt that he did. The civil case, which had a much lower bar, went the other way.

Agreed on both counts. I have never felt that the mainstream media painted him out to be a saint. Just the opposite.

Don't have any time for murderers, but do love the Naked Gun movies. Otherwise, never saw much of OJ, other than in some cheesy Hertz commercials with Arnold Palmer.

Man, do I miss Norm! I can just hear him say:

“O.J. Simpson has died today. This NFL player turned actor was known mostly for…DOUBLE HOMICIDE!”
