i recently went through my father's old stuff in his garage this christmas and came across a pair of bose acoustimass and lifestyle cubes. one pair has the red stitching on it, the other pair looks like the ones from the recent lifestyle line.

i was thinking of hooking up a stereo receiver for this for use in my bedroom for music. can i do it that way if im not using a bose receiver or sub? what wattage can it handle, and how many ohms (dont want to blow anything)?

thanks for all the help.

Unfortunately the Acoustimass module uses a proprietary input jack and cable connector to connect a surround sound receiver. The cube speakers also use proprietary speaker cabling.

There's a reason these speakers are in a box in the garage.. ;)
