Well...got the Jurasic park set (26.99 + Jurasic 3 ticket) today... got home (bought widescreen edition) and guess what. no widescreen on my Panasonic 200D... I watched the movie..no issue other than no widescreen... So I popped it in my Sony 360s..and bam- widescreen..
So I guess I need a firmware upgrade or a newer unit.... anyone gottena firmware upgrade for a panasonic. I believe I bought the extended warranty at (cc)... does that cover it?

Your warranty should cover it, check that your DVD player isn't set to 16x9, sounds like it should be set to "normal" or 4x3 for your display device. If the people look tall and skinny, that's the problem.
Also, you'll probably get more replies if your topic heading had a relationship to your question. The admins can change if for you if you email them.

thanx for the reply...true about the topic...however. I have all set correctly on my dvd player (actualy is a d220 5disk changerd).... only disks it has issues with are castaway,dinasour and now jurasic park.. has played all other widescreens flawlessly.... I may just move the sony into the living room..and the pan into the bedroom.. for now
