Wow...I'll try and be nice.

Perhaps the worst film I've seen in a long, long time. I wasn't expecting much and got even less.

I kind of got forced into going and they are in major debt. Not only to give me back 98 minutes of my life but next time, I am picking the film. And the next....

How in the world does Gary Oldman think this is a film worthy of his involvement?

People around us were laughing...the theater was full of jr. high & hs kids. Felt like we were back in jr. high gym class.

The popcorn was great though.

Sorry for the pun, but this film is an abortion.

A great premise poorly executed. There was a lot I wanted to see and got none of it. I'm speechless. There were so many blind alleys and lip service paid to ideas that went nowhere, characters I cared nothing about, and a lame climax that opens the door for a sequel. Carla Gugino is in this. Did you guys know that? So is Stringer Bell -- fans of The Wire know who I mean. They are wasted. Gary Oldman probably appeared in this as a favor to Goyer. He has 3 scenes and they amount to nothing.

Jump scares. Creepy kids. Psychobabble and religious mysticism.

If this is the best Goyer can do, I feel bad for him.

The best part of my theatrical experience today was asking 3 high school girls to please be quiet after the movie started. They apologized and didn't make a peep until near the end, when the film was so laughable that I didn't care anymore. That, and a great trailer for The Haunting in Conneticut.

Saw it as well. The lead chick was hot, but that couldn't help the movie. It was pretty bad and you just wanted the movie over with. There were lots of kids in the theater taking, getting up and using their phones that made it worse.

Oldman musta needed a quick check.
