I didn't see another thread & I searched....I'm sure it will be a popular film in terms of box office and thought I would review it.

Was there another thread to post this?

I will probably be the only HTF member to see it so please delete the thread if you want! ;) My reputation is at risk lol.

This movie reminded me of Goyer's last movie, The Invisible, in that I nearly forgot what I'd just seen about five minutes after it ended. I only recall vague impressions of shallow, sarcastic rich kids getting screwed by supernatural forces.

Hope this isn't un-germane, as I haven't seen the movie, but something has been bugging me about it. Based on what I've seen in the advertisements/trailers, it appears the main character is aged somewhere in her late teens. The unborn kid, who was to have been her twin (right?), that terrorizes her looks to be about 8 years old. For me, this does not compute. Seems if the kid was never born, he oughta either look like an embryo, or look the same age as his twin sis. Am I missing something here?

Saw it today, wanted so badly to like it, but I did not. Appears Goyer is only good when adapting material.

Also, is it me or does Odette Yustman look like Megan Fox, but with a bit more soul?

Also:
It appeared the ghost could inhabit other people's bodies at will, why did Jumby (hehe) need her?

Darn I was going to watch this just to ogle at Odette Yustman :)

She was hot in Cloverfield and looks even hotter in The Unborn...

Thanks for the warning guys. I haven't been on here in a while. I've joined the world of parenting and a 1 year old daughter means dad's trips to the silver screen are now few and far between.

Got a sitter for the evening and planning to take the wife out. You just saved me $20. Hopefully there is something out there worth watching.

Good to get on here again. Just like the old days. Brett M, Chuck, Crawdaddy, Andy, and my good buddy Obi Wan Timobi. Staples of the HTF.

Good to see you back Josh.

But we saved you more than $20. Trust me, we saved you much more.

It's that bad. And then some. :P

I am just relieved that some other HTF members were brave enough to post their review. :D
