You are exactly right Ed. My wife and I were very excited that they were going to make a movie of Polar Express. We took this book out for the kids every christmas since it first was published. Still do.
Then we saw the trailer and looked at each other and said, "Oh S..t". I can't believe Chris VA caved in and let hollywood bastardize his story and his wonderful artwork. Wait, yes I can $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. We will not contribute a single penny to this fiasco.
And Tom is getting very close to over exposure.
