Simply put, this may be the worst film I've seen this year. All first act, no second or third acts. And it never seems to end. I'm sure the idea of making a "family" movie for the Douglases sounded like fun, but this movie is so painful to watch. The film is 100 minutes plus of set up. The director's last film Last Orders explored some similar themes regarding mortality, but it was far more interesting, humorous, and touching than this twaddle. The trailer didn't inspire any confidence in me, but this film stinks worse than I imagined. And I wanted to punch Cameron Douglas in the face. I really disliked him in this movie.
