    I have abstained from purchasing this release until it's made
    available on HD-DVD.

    That being said, despite the fact this film should have ended 10
    minutes sooner, it was a very entertaining. I recommend it!

    ....and the opening theme is a real highlight here!

    I rented this last week. Missed it in the theater and didn't want to wait for the HD DVD to roll around. Not what I was expecting, which greatly added to the overall enjoyment of the movie. I agree with Ron that it could have been trimmed by a few minutes, but it was one of the better commercial films of 2006 so far.

    I'm tempted to link directly, but if you search Youtube for "Chaiyya Chaiyya" you can see the music video for the opening/closing theme. I'm not into Indian pop music but I did find it catchy, similar to the only other Indian pop song I have heard, Tunak Tunak Tan. And that song's video is hysterical as well.
