Wow. Six months after the movie opens and I'm the first to post in the discussion thread? I realize the movie wasn't that popular, but even the "Catwoman" thread got a few pages.

Finally caught this on DVD via a blind purchase at Best Buy's 2 for $20 sale this week. Wasn't sure what to expect, since it trumpets itself as being "From the producers of 'Road Trip' and 'Old School'." I loved "Road Trip," and HATED "Old School." Definitely very little artistic value, but I laughed a lot and that's the most you can usually hope for from this sort of film. Sad that it was a failure at the box office when unfunny films like "Old School" clean up. :frowning:

But one thing I can't understand was that Jamie had all their passports in with the money in his little money belt when it was stolen in the alley. How did they get flights from Berlin to Rome, or get back to the US, without passports?

They really ARE the WORST twins ever!

I'd guess theoretically, with Schengen (no border controls), they could go from Germany to Italy without being required to show a passport, and somewhere along the line, probably after the finale and before the flight home, they got replacements from the US embassy.

I can't remember whether the UK is part of the Schengen agreement, but the last time I flew from UK to Italy in 2000, all passengers were still required to produce passports, and mine even got stamped -- but then again I don't hold an EU passport; IIRC the Brits had their passports examined but the passports weren't stamped.

I have travelled by train between european countries and england to france was the only route that had passport controll.

By the way I thought the movie was pretty funny, though if anything was inaccurate, it was how little some locations looked like the cities they were supposed to be.

I mean in amsterdam they show building with stucco roofs. It looks like the filmed it at the venice hotel casino in vegas.
