*** Official DON'T MESS WITH THE ZOHAN Review Thread (1 Viewer)

Is this a great film, no, not really, but it's a ludicrous film in the best way. If you see it with a crowd primed to have a good time, it's likely you'll have a good time with all the nuttiness and hijinks sprinkled throughout the film. Sure, it's got a lot of groin-related humor intertwined with the Zohan haircutting treatments, but there are attempts to call for peace in the middle east from outlandish directions. I LOL quite a bit throughout the film, though Rob Schneider's character practically stops the film in its track in the first 2/3 of the film. Adam Sandler's performance is up to par with typical expectations, and game for almost anything. Treat it like a absurdist fable, and it might work for you.

I give it 2.5 stars, or a grade of C+.
