Officially released in Spain (2002) this terrible movie makes it’s way to US theaters. I nearly fell asleep why watching this and the audience I saw this with moaned with disappointment when it ended without even one scare. Hey this garbage may scare you if your not from the US but I for one need something other then a shaky camera man and a pencil rolling along the floor to get scared.
Young family moves to the country to start their lives over and move into a; you guessed it an old semi inhabited house. Nuclear family intact both the young boy and teenage girl start noticing little things not quite right with this house especially when it is dark. Of course the mother is oblivious to anything and the father is suffering from a disease so what does he know. It turns out that this house was purposely built for a specific reason and is at it's full potential only when an eclipse is present.
I would tell you more but to be honest it isn’t worth remembering or telling. All I want to do is to warn you how bad this movie is. DON’T PAY $ TO SEE THIS
The story is boring and obviously weak due to the long drawn out beginning. When you finally get to the meat & potatoes you look at the person next to you and say what the F##k is this. The camera trick is simply shake it as much as possible to scare the audience which didn’t work other then to make it hard to see what these idiots were doing. There was virtually no blood, absolutely no gore, and no jump scares, not even good sound effect’s. It’s absolutely terrible.
