Well it come to my attention that a number of threads these days will ask for a custom cover of X movie, but no one notices it and gets lost in the shuffle. This thread is put a stop to that by organizing all custom cover pleads within one easy to find thread. And if you guessed it, I needing two covers myself, inserts included. I needed Rush Hour 1 cover and insert and Mystery Scicnce Theater 3000 the move cover and insert, along with a insert for Goonies. I know about the custom cover sites, but some times, the work gets done faster with the help of friends.

Also, anyone created a new Donnie Darko cover? You know, one with a better annotation on th back and the original Poster Art with the original arabic style lettering on the front as well as the spine.

I could use an alternative cover for John Boorman's Excalibur to replace the horrible Snapper version. I believe one of HTF's resident cover art gurus was working on one a while back, but I don't know if it was ever finished.

A Shrek cover, custom or otherwise, would come in handy to replace the one I destroyed attempting to move it from one case to another because of that damned little contest piece that ruined the plastic on the original case.

    There's an Excalibur sleeve here:
    dvdcoverart.com
They have a lot of replacement sleeves there, so the site's worth bookmarking.

By the way, which member here started DVDCoverart.com? Because maybe if he sees this thread, he might get some ideas.

I wish somebody would create new covers for Woody Allen's films so that they would all match.

    I'm working on:

    - A Donnie Darko cover featuring the poster art.

    - A Sexy Beast cover based on the "mosaic" poster.

However, I can't offer any timeframes, since work's been a bitch lately.

I'd like to see covers for Buckaroo Banzai and Escape From New York.
I might even get into this myself. In late '99 I put up a site (now dead) on xoom.com LONG before anyone was doing this on a regular basis but I never kept up with it. I also never admitted it was me due to all the legal mumbo jumbo.
Does anyone have any Photoshop templates we can use?

    Mike_G -

Matt DeVillier has a terrific site called DVDCoverart.com. Go to the help section of the site to find templates.

There is a site: www.cdcovers.cc that has a lot of DVD covers, some are not the best and some are good. Mostly just scans, but they may be useful none the less.

Is there a V, the mini series cover? I might pick this up soon and would like to get rid of that crappy snapper case.
