Well, Ebert and Roeper just gave this film a big thumbs up with Roeper stating he laughed out loud several times which is remarkable considering his uptight persona. Roeper did make one insightful comment and that is the most difficult film to make is a film that is actually funny which according to the buzz, this film is without the typical below the belt humor that is too prevalent in today's comedies.
Wow, I just checked Rotten Tomatoes and the film has a 85% rating with 67 reviews posted which is pretty damn good.[IMG] Well, I guess I'll be stopping by my local cinema multiplex today.

Didn't I just tell everyone that in the other thread? [IMG]
The movie was damn good and deserves the praise IMO.
I hope more people around here will go and check it out.

There was a scene in the film that was very ironic and which you see a sign in Ice Cube's barbershop that stated no playing of Rap music until 10:00 a.m.[IMG]

FYI, Jesse Jackson is demanding the producers make cuts to the film. I understand this is probably too political for this board, but thought it should at least be mentioned. Personally, I don't see how he thinks he has a right to ask this.
    Story here.
