Here's our dedicated page on Sony's new X850F series of 2018 UHD/HDR TVs. All technical specs, .pdf spec sheets, prices, expected launch dates and more are available on our site.

Here's a few of the highlights:
Sony is using the X1 processor. This series supports HDR10 and HLG HDR and does not support Dolby Vision HDR.

For 2018 X850F we can expect higher peak luminance. The new Android Smart platform works with popular smart speakers such as Sony’s LF-S50G, Google Home or Amazon Alexa capable speakers, like Sonos' with Alexa enabled.

The new Android TV supports Google Cast, voice search & Play Store apps, & Google Assistant built-in. The Google Assistant on Sony’s Android TV works just by pushing the microphone button on the remote and using your voice to ask a question or say a command.

Available sizes and suggested retail list prices:
- XBR-65X850F $1,999.99
- XBR-75X850F $3,299.99
- XBR-85X850F $TBD

Prices are SRP at launch Sony will release the "SURE" prices, which are likely to be lower than SRP.

We were just allocated the very first shipments of 55", 65" and 75" X900Fs! Shipping February 22nd.

Also included in this allotment are 65" and 75" X850Fs.

On our TV Shootout wall I'll be mounting a 75X900F next to our 75X940E and 75X900E.

Nor did the current X850E series. In Sony's TV line-up Dolby Vision HDR is limited to the high-end TVs that are equipped with the flagship X1 Extreme Processor.

For 2018 Dolby Vision will be supported in the X900F.
