O.K. Movie buffs I am looking for a word and its driving me nuts!!! For the life of me I cannot remember this term from the comedy "Office Space" When Jennifer Aniston(sp) is getting talked to at her waitressing job, the manager points out she has the bare minimum of on her outfit. All the employees wear button and pins on the outfit and I cannot recall the term they used. If you know or have this movie PLEASE tell me what this term is. It is driving me crazy. Thanks

Funny, the Sunday before Christmas I was wondering the same thing. I was at a TGIFriday's at the mall during a Christmas shopping excursion and stopped there for a drink and to catch up on the football scores. None of the waitresses there were wearing any peices of flair! I almost came home and posted this question that day. [IMG]

"Lorence let me ask you a question what would u do if you had a million dollars and never had to work"

"I'd tell you what I'd do man...Two chicks at the same time"

"That's it. If you had a million dollars you'd do 2 chicks at the same time"

"Damn straight I've always wanted to do that. I think if I were a million I could set that up cause chicks dig dudes with money"

    "Well not all chicks"

"Yeah but the type of chicks that would double up on a dude like me do"

    "Good point"

    Ron,

I noticed the same thing when I was in TGI Friday's right before Christmas. The wait staff wasn't wearing hats either. My guess is they are tring to "fancy" up their image a little. Did you notice the new menu?

The manager was played by Mike Judge, who also wrote/directed the movie and, of course, created Beavis & Butthead. His depiction of vapid middle american middle management was dead on and hilarious..

"We need to talk about your flair..."

    Awesome, awesome movie.

[waiting for the SE before I buy)

    Cheers,

    Joseph

I don't remember the thread specifics, but the SE will include 16:9 anamorphic widescreen and a director's commentary by Mike Judge. The menus will be all new as well (perhaps they'll also have a Jack Daniel's motif and red/white striped borders).

"Click on the flair for the hidden extra!"

Or watch Office Space in "follow the flair" mode...

    Cheers,

    Joseph

I ran into the same problem as you guys with the new menu...haha (how off topic can you get!). I always get the firebites, and I couldn't find them...had a panic attach, asked the waitress (wearing no flair!) and she said they still had them, they just weren't on the menu any more...whew.

Firebites + Office Space = Happy Stoney

    Ron,

In NY ordering Calamari from Fridays could get you thrown in jail. If you ever make your way to the east coast go to Mulberry St. Walk into ANY restaraunt and order it. After that Fridays will be just for cheesburgers.

Butch, are you saying you wouldn't share some calimari with me on a Friday night? I'd share a plate of squid with you anyday and the beers are on me, brother! [IMG]
