Indeed! The very reason I skipped the R2 blu ray was the 1.37 aspect ratio for a 1959 American film. Hopefully Olive will get it right.

Olive won't get it right unless they pay MGM/UA to redo it.

I bought the R2 version, used the zoom button on my Oppo to change the AR to 1:66, and the image looked fine to me.
