I bought this DVD about two years ago and it worked fine. Today, I decided to watch it again and for some odd reason it wouldn't load using the same DVDP I used. So I tried my DVDROM and DVD burner and it still wouldn't load.

I just find it odd that all of a sudden the the DVD disc no longer works.

.. and yes, I have tried cleaning the disc several times but it really didn't need any cleaning at all.

Has anyone had this happen to them?

That recently happend to me with Kentucky Fried Movie, Anchor Bay replaced it no questions asked. Perhaps Universal will do the same for you.

Let's hope. I just emailed them about it. I guess "DVD Rot" is the cause?

I just discovered that my copy of Dragonheart will not load. It is clean and has no obvious problems. It is also a Universal issue.

So it's a 50/50 or different odds in getting replacement discs?
