Odd color shading/fading Sony (1 Viewer)

Hi all and thanks for the help!
Comparing 3 month old X900H Sony image on our Roku 4k Ultra and the baked in smart TV functions i noticed a HUGE difference shading ability on the smart tv when using as source! Any ideas what the heck?? THANKS!!

TV: Sony X900H Series
Rcvr: Yamaha RX-V385BL
Roku model: Roku - Ultra 4K
HDMI Cables (far from high end or low end... i just wanted gold plated and my gf wanted ones that look nice lol):
QualGear 6 Feet 2.0, 24K Gold Plated, 4K Ultra HD, 3D, 18Gbps, ARC, Ethernet (QG-PCBL-HD20-6FT-2PK)

On the Roku input, check Smooth Gradation under picture settings and set it to medium.
