I’m curious as to what rare/obscure films out there people would love to have on BLU or even DVD that probably would never see the light of day. Which one or three would you most like? For me, it’s three Fox titles:
East Lynne, State Fair, The White Parade, and The Pied Piper.

Some films I've never seen, but generally been on the lookout for...

1. "One Hour Late" (1935-Par) Helen Twelvetrees, Joe Morrison
2. "Miss Mink of 1949" (1949-Fox) James Lydon, Lois Collier
3. "State Trooper" (1933-Col) Regis Toomey, Evalyn Knapp
4. "Rendezvous 24" (1946-Fox) William Gargan, Maria Palmer
5. "Undersea Girl" (1957-AA) Mara Corday, Pat Conway
6. "Hollywood Boulevard" (1936-Par) John Halliday, Marsha Hunt
7. "White Tie and Tails" (1946-Univ) Dan Duryea, Ella Raines
8. "House of a Thousand Candles" (1936-Rep) Phillips Holmes, Mae Clarke
9. "Night in New Orleans" (1942-Par) Preston Foster, Patricia Morison
10. "Face in the Sky" (1932-Fox) Spencer Tracy, Marion Nixon
11. "On the Isle of Samoa" (1950-Col) Jon Hall, Susan Cabot
12. "Wild Horse Mesa" (1932-Par) Randolph Scott, Sally Blane

Mostly B-stuff, and probably nothing special. But I'd like to see them.

Two old favorites I have seen, and would like nice copies of:

1. "Her Adventurous Night" (1946-Univ) Dennis O'Keefe, Helen Walker
2. "Night Freight" (1955-AA) Forrest Tucker, Barbara Britton

These are so rare there probably aren't any existing prints, but...

Charlie Chan Carries On
Charlie Chan's Chance
Charlie Chan's Greatest Case
Charlie Chan's Courage

All of the above 4 early Chan films were apparently destroyed in the 1937 20th Century Fox vault fire. Given their relatively young age at that time, I'd say that they had most likely never even had the benefit of theatrical reissue, which would have likely meant additional fresh prints being struck. What a heartbreaking loss for Cinema! :(

CHEERS! :)

"THE STEEL BAYONET" (Hammer Films-1957) and "VISA TO CANTON" (Hammer Films-1961)
I saw Visa To Canton when I was a small boy. I've never seen it since but I'd like to. I believe in some parts of the world it was re-titled Passport to Canton.

The now obscure film I repeatedly go on about is The Hell With Heroes, a missing-in-action Universal movie from the late 1960s, starring Rod Taylor and Claudia Cardinale. Sadly, perhaps disgracefully, Universal won't even say why it's gone missing.

In the never will see Blu-ray department, Frank Perry's Ladybug, Ladybug. Never had any kind of home video release. Shameful.

I have been wanting this title also. Incredibly rare on VHS*, impossible on disc. However, I never thought I'd see A HIGH WIND IN JAMAICA on Blu-ray in spite of my many pleas for this here and on other forums, but lo and behold, it's coming out from Germany next month. So don't give up hope!

*Any copies are most certainly illegal.

A WW2 POW escape film, Danger Within (1959), I did mention it in another thread. I'd love a decent looking transfer, a DVD would do.
