In this exciting 15 chapter adventure, Ivan Shark is after a secret range finder that will enable his bombers to engage in a furious reign of terror and Captain Midnight is called upon to stop him.(IMDb)
Captain Midnight (later rebranded on television as Jet Jackson, Flying Commando) is a U.S. adventure franchise first broadcast as a radio serial from 1938 to 1949. The character's popularity throughout the 1940s and into the mid-1950s extended to serial films (1942), a television show (1954–1956), a syndicated newspaper strip (1942-late 1940s), and a comic book title (1942–1948). (tvdays)

S02E02 Mission to Mexico (Oct.05.1955)
Stars Richard Webb Sid Melton Olan Soule John Truax Tyler McVey Alan Wells Ben Frommer Edward Colmans Alfred Ward

Mr. Hobson, an American security specialist, reports that an enemy radio transmitter in Mexico has broken down. Since his men have broken the enemy's code, they want the transmitter repaired as soon as possible so they can continue to monitor the broadcasts. Captain Midnight and Icky volunteer to travel to the remote mountain area where the transmitter is located posing as fix-it men in hopes of being hired to repair the broken equipment - and do some poking around in the enemy's base on the side. (IMDb)

This is an episode of Captain Midnight in Mission to Mexico, with the original Ovaltine commercials I restored for Sandoz Nutrition, who owned Ovaltine at the time in 1980's. The print was to be donated to the Smithsonian Institute to honor actor Richard Webb for his television portrayal of Captain Midnight, and he was donating his Captain Midnight jacket that night to the museum. They couldn't find a copy at the time of the event, and the museum told Richard Webb, yes my childhood hero, needed me to come to his rescue and find his lost television history. (tvdays)

Sky King was an American radio and television series. Its lead character was Arizona rancher and aircraft pilot Schuyler "Sky" King. The series may have been based on a true-life personality of the 1930s, Jack Cones, known as the "Flying Constable" of Twentynine Palms in San Bernardino County, California, although this notion is unverified. (Wikipedia)

S01E14 Formula for Fear (Oct.04.1952)
Stars Kirby Grant Gloria Winters Lee Van Cleef Ron Hagerthy Hayden Rorke Fred Essler David Leonard Sarah Selby

Penny sees a man escape from a doctor's office, and is informed that the man is a dangerous mental patient. Sky looks into the incident, and soon finds himself mixed up in foreign spies and poison gas.

Sky joins the hunt for two escaped convicts and their hostage, the local banker's son.

Rancher Angus McGonicle keeps finding strange bottles with lit wicks and notes threatening the dam floating down the river, which King traces to a psychotic old hermit upstream. There, he traps King and Penny, then sets out to dynamite the dam in a rowboat.

Peter Gunn is a private detective with a knack for finding trouble. His cases often mean he runs into the shadiest characters, most vicious thugs and the most powerful crime bosses. Cool and resourceful, he always gets the guilty party.

Season One

S01E01 The Kill (Sep.22.1958)
Stars Craig Stevens Lola Albright Hope Emerson Herschel Bernardi Gavin MacLeod Jack Weston John Truax Sam Scar Bill Chadney Joe Bassett Charles Maxwell

A gang attempts to extort money from Mother. When she refuses to pay, the gang dynamites her club and critically injures its owner. The police investigation stalls so Gunn goes hunting for the man he holds responsible.

Gunn is hired by a jazz club owner to prove one of his musicians has been framed for murder, but the musician's lawyer doesn't want Gunn's assistance.

When newspaper editor George Walker is viciously attacked by a German shepherd, he calls on Peter Gunn to find out why, and his suspicions center on Carl Kane, a powerful and shady businessman. Gunn's path to the truth leads through late-night strong-arm meetings, a poetry-quoting bum and Walker's overly helpful assistant.

A low-level mobster, the Frog (Stubby Kruger), is stabbed on a dock and falls into a river. The Frog was to meet Gunn, who is jumped when he goes to Frog's home. Gunn kills his attacker, setting off a police investigation into the deaths.

A young man enters his apartment and is immediately put into a sleeper hold by a huge assailant waiting inside, in the dark. The assailant hoists the victim into a hanging noose, and kicks a stool out from under him. The death is ruled a suicide. The giant is an assistant to Ahben Vanesku, a cult leader who hires Peter Gunn to find a female cult member who supposedly embezzled $ 200,000 from the cult. Gunn tracks the beautiful woman to Spain.

Matthew the purpose of this thread is to Post your favorites. Please read what I wrote back on Page 1 HERE. Post means to go to any streaming platform and enter the url or web address of your desired program into the Media Feature. It does not mean typing only the text of your favorite. Former combat cameraman Mike Kovac is now a freelance photographer in New York City, specializing in difficult and dangerous assignments where he can get the kinds of pictures that other photographers can't, or won't take. He sometimes gets help, often reluctantly, from his contact in the police department, Lt. Donovan, and advice from his immigrant father Anton.

Season One

S01E01 Second Avenue Assassin (Oct.10.1958)
Stars Charles Bronson Tom Laughlin Theodore Marcuse Ruta Lee Art Lewis Leonard Bell Walter Barnes Don Kennedy John C. Becher

Mike grew up with a moody boxer who, now a big time professional, is more vulnerable than it seems, and he needs Mike's help.

Mike is forced by two masked men to take a photo of a man just as he is being killed. The police ask Mike to let them spread the word that he can identify the killers. His father convinces him to do this, but this puts both father and son in danger.

Kovac takes a crowd shot at a fire scene, inadvertently recording the daughter of an aged mobster, hiding out in a tough neighborhood. The old man is being protected by a gang of young hoods, or so he thinks.

Mike takes pictures of a crooked gambler. Later he also takes pictures of the gubernatorial candidate who vows to put the gambler out of business if elected. But then his negatives are stolen and used to create a composite to make the candidate look like he is working for the gambling syndicate.

On a tip from a free-lance reporter, Mike takes a picture of a woman, and finds that she very strongly resembles a woman whose murder a man has been arrested for. But a boxer friend of Mike's says the woman is his girlfriend and not the allegedly murdered woman. Mike tries to find out the truth.

Here you are, James. Seems like a cute show (co-starring a young Ahna Capri), though the video quality of this sole episode is in pretty rough shape:

Deputy Dan and the Pecos Kid (1973) Unsold Pilot

I’ve searched the internet and cannot find anything about this. The only info I’ve located are folks posting that they also cannot find anything about it. No doubt a low budget western.
