Is this something that is being discussed as a possible release or are you just really hoping? I would like to see the "all around the world" show released that aired on MTV awhile back after Be Here Now came out, so we can have a DVD for every album. I would personally rather see that than the unplugged but I will take what I can get.

I have MP3s of the show, and only caught it on TV ONCE, when it was first aired. I'd buy the CD/DVD combo in a second. Contains what's probably the best live rendition of "Some Might Say," and it let Noel show he could carry the band if Liam ever quit (which was a real possibility at the time.)
What I don't remember though, is what made the show controversial. Anyone care to enlighten me? I read something about the "MTV awards incident," but all I can remember about that was Liam spitting on the floor before singing Champagne Supernova. That couldn't have been it, could it?
EDITED TO ADD: Eric, I had All Around the World on VHS till my VCR decided to eat it. Great stuff. I miss it, dammit [IMG]

    Ricardo,

It was controversial because liam refused to play and noel had to do the whole show. Liam stayed up in the balcony complaining of a soar throat but still smoking and drinking beer while insulting his brother the whole time.

That VHS you had of "all around the world" was it an official release from somewhere? I just had a tape I recorded off T.V. and it was really bad quality and of course MTV really only showed the singles and not the whole show.

The MTV broadcast of "All Around the World" (they showed it ONCE by the way) was roughly 90 minutes long, I have a (poor) quality VHS copy myself. It was never officially released on an home video format anywhere in the world. Seems a shame since it was professionally recorded...maybe one day?

That's kind of weird. I was wondering why they never released that show, even on CD.

Eric: My copy of AATW was taped off the TV broadcast. The fact that neither this nor Queen's final show at Knebworth are on home video will forever puzzle me.

How about the Stone Temple Pilots: Unplugged? I'd like to get that on CD atleast.

    Rob,
I would debate that but this really isn't the thread for that. [IMG]

How about a DVD with all their videos? That would be awesome.
