I believe he's talking about the recent suspicious R1 release, which turned up listed on Amazon.

The R2 (UK) version is 2.35:1 letterboxed (approx.) and non-anamorphic. It's a crappy transfer, which many believe was sourced from the NTSC laserdisc release. It also has very bad audio sync problems.
