I have the nvdvd player 2.27 installed with xp and it was working fine until I installed the updates for Windows Media Player 9.

Now nvdvd no longer plays dvds, but I can still play vcd files and when I try to play a dvd with WMP, I get the dvd menus from the nvdvd player.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled nvdvd and the same problems occur.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

If it's any consolation, I had trouble with WMP9 (or 8 or 7 or 6...you get the picture) and DVD playback. WMP9 won't play any DVDs because it can't find a decoder, even though I have WinDVD4 and Theatertek installed!

It's a frigging black art, I tell ya.
