Nuns on The Run R2 question

    I've found a way to be able to hack my player to play all regions but I'm not sure about this whole PAL/NTSC thing is the R2 DVD NTSC compatible if not is there a way to make the player PAL compatible along with already being NTSC? also if anyone in R2 has this DVD how's the a/v and is it in WS?And is it possible to oder online to be sent to the states?
    sorry Mods if I'm talking about illegal stuff but I don't really understand this whole region hacking bit

    The R2 DVD of Nuns on the Run is PAL. Unless your player is a Malata or one of those specialised players which states it can play back PAL DVDs I suspect it will only handle NTSC.

    The R2 "Nuns on the Run" is anamorphic widescreen, although there's nothing on the sleeve that mentions this (and it doesn't mention the director commentary either).

    Here in the UK it's curently on sale in Virgin's B&M stores for £7.99 (about $12).

    However, it was released by Anchor Bay UK, so I guess it's possible that it might get an R1 release.

    Oho - I have to own it. What are B&M stores? I've only ever seen Virgin and V.Shops??

    Sorry. B&M = Bricks and Mortar, ie a high street store. I got mine in a Megastore, but I guess V-Shops may have it too.

    By the way, Virgin Megastores have now started a 2 for 1 promotion, but my local branch still has some sale stock left on the shelves.
