Car searchers - Car People.

Can you guys' get into caranddriver.com I can't.

Can you guys' get into automotiveforums.com I can't.

Is this just my comp? [ If so, how do you fix it] Or is it like a bad time to visit them???

I was able to get into both of these sites without any problems. You might try back now as they both just could have been down for a little while. Check to make sure that you can get to other sites such as www.msn.com or yahoo. If so then the problem is not with your settings. Next are you signing in from home or work? If from work are you sure the network admins havnt blocked access to this site?

Ok, hmmmmm, I will try them both once more and let you know. This is soooo freakin wierd, since I am on my a family members computer [not a work one]. I can get one easily at home...well be back in a sec to let you know.

Well, no such luck...this is what happens :

I type in the addy

on the bottom it says that the web site has been found and waiting for reply.

at about hlaf way on the progress bar it like stops!

and SOMETIMES like 3-4 mins. later a message will appear saying that they couldn't succcede the connection/Operation timed out.

What's wrong??? I can get into any other site but:

caranddriver

automotiveforums

candystand

Does that happen on your work? If you try to get there through the office network, the office firewall - the office netfilter, perhaps?
