This may explain why Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes was not included recently.Well, it looks like this thread will be shutting g down in December, as Disney just announced that Disney Movie Insiders will be shutting down on December 4, 2024, according to an email sent out this morning and a post on Facebook.

Hopefully, they won’t pull a Sony or Universal by keeping the point values inflated and then dump nothing but crap for us to redeem points for.I received an email from Disney earlier today with this announcement. I recently redeemed points for a couple of UHD titles, so only have 2,631 points remaining. I will have to check over the next couple of months for other titles -- should be able to get two more with those points.
That tile has been up for months.Well, not really a shock, honestly. I'm crossing fingers for something I actually want because I'm still sitting on 15k points.
There is this other piece, though. Who knows what this means.

I clearly didn't notice. That tile has been up for months.
Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes was not eligible for points in theaters either, even though they offered rewards themed to it. I could have used that, since I saw it twice. This may explain why Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes was not included recently.
I vaguely recall that they did have some kind of promotion tied to the Disney+ Perks where subscribers were offered exclusive access to movie-related merchandise. I want to say it was with Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, but I could be wrong.I clearly didn't notice.![]()
It's still there for me. The site got hit with a lot of traffic earlier in the day. I think it's back to "normal."This is what I saw when I logged in today.

Are the buttons to earn and redeem points that are usually near the top still there for everyone else? I'm not seeing them, but my internet has been kind of wonky this week. As it is, I can't figure out how to even browse the rewards catalog.
Weird. It's still not showing up for me at all. It's still there for me.

They likely moved it because "Enter Code" will be removed in about a week."Redeem" got moved to the upper right corner, next to "Enter Code". It's probably that gold box at the top of your screenshot that's either cut off or covered up.
I really hate being right in this case.I wonder what this means for the Disney Movie Insiders program. I'm not sure if it would make sense for Disney to continue to operate a rewards program for products being sold by other studios. Of course you can get points for theatrical releases and Disney+ subscriptions, but it would seem to me that discs are probably still the main source of points for most people. They certainly are for me.
Redeem for this Disney+ Gift Card and use it towards your monthly Disney+ or Disney Bundle subscription. PLEASE NOTE: This card is redeemable solely for monthly subscriptions purchased directly from Disney+ on disneyplus.com.
I am signed up for the Disney Bundle Duo Premium (that’s quite a mouthful) thru D+ and you can add a gift card when you click on your account and then the Subscription, then Your Plans & Billing.I'm eyeing the Disney+ gift card, at least as my fallback option if I can't find enough other merchandise to use points on.
But this note gives me pause:
I have the triple option (no ads) bundle. When I go to the "account" page on disneyplus.com and scroll down to the "Your Plans" section, it gives me a link to manage my account on Hulu. I'm pretty sure I signed up for the bundle through Disney+. So I don't know if the card will work for me, or if there's some sort of technicality.
Anyone have the Disney/Hulu/ESPN bundle that actually allows you to manage your account through the Disney+ site?
