New SONY REWARDS Movie Buff rewards. The best slate I can remember in several years. At least 6 films I'd like to have (or already have).

Anyone know if that reward for The Professional 4K redeems the theatrical or extended cut or both (in 4K)? There seems 2 separate entries on Movies Anywhere for those... although the theatrical one seems to also include extended cut (but maybe only in HD?) along w/ other stuff for bonus feature.

Asked elsewhere and the response I got -- though there seems to be a bit of disagreement if VUDU has any extras at all, much less the Extended 4K so still a bit unknown

Redeeming the Buff Pass gets you the 4K Theatrical on VUDU, Itunes, and MA, but under the EXTRAS is the extended cut which is HD on Itunes/MA, but 4K on VUDU

UPDATE 1:30pm ET -- Comic Book seems pretty popular for some reason and 1900 of the original 2500 already gone.

UPDATE 2:30pm ET -- this thing just blew right past the initial 2500 and DMI lowered the holdback from 300 to 20 right before it was going to sell out in order to make more available. Now approaching 200 left (again).

Rule #1 - variant covers don't make sense.

Marvel regularly does themed variant covers. Sometimes it's across all of their books in a given month, and sometimes it's more staggered. The theme rarely has anything to do with the actual content of the books.

In this case, the theme is recreating classic Marvel covers with Disney characters, and for some reason, the variants seem to be confined to the Amazing Spider-Man series. No clue why, other than perhaps Spidey is Marvel's version of Mickey Mouse.
