Nortons vs. McAfee with P4 and Windows XP (1 Viewer)

Just ordered a pretty nicely loaded new computer from Dell. My question involves whether anyone here has any experience with Norton System Works or the similar offering from McAfee and Pentium 4's using XP as the operating system. Has anyone experienced any incapatability problems with either of the main competing brands and the new Window's XP or do they work fine?

The latest Norton runs fine in XP.

I'm running norton 2002 on my home XP boxes without any prolems at all...IMO its tough to beat mr. norton

I agree with Andrew. Norton always seems to be the first out with an antivirus compatible with the latest OS. I switched to Norton 7 years ago when I first got into Win95 because they had the first anti-virus product that was fully compatible with Win95, and I've stuck with them ever since.

I too just got a new Dell ( P-4 1.6 ghz 256 ddr sdram )
and it came pre-loaded with Norton. It seems to work just fine.
