Fully restored and in hi-definition, all 110 episodes, over 6 seasons, with all the original music as you remember it.

At least that's what they say here

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product...er-21&linkId=61a879c241b8184d8986d1b92100c2cc

Hope this gets released in the US soon.

Maxx

Wow! That's just a bit over $176 (~$29/season) using Amazon's currency convertor. I sure wish there was a shot of the back of the package so we could see if it's region free... as usual, it's not indicated on Amazon.

Region B locked, going by reports elsewhere and other Fabulous/Universal sets being locked.

Bummer... of sorts. My BR player can play all regions but you have to manually change the region each time. Not a deal breaker, but very annoying and makes me less interested in region locked BRs. For DVDs it was a once-and-done setting.

Just out of curiosity, has anyone tried to play this on a Region A player? Sometimes these BDs are listed for one, but play on others. And Universal usually plays in all regions.

When Universal release their titles themselves they are region-free but when they license these out to others, like Fabulous Films in this case, they tend to require region locking and this one is no exception.

Here's an upcoming reboot I'm actually looking forward to:

My wife and I loved this quirky show and its kooky characters, and with the original writers aboard, maybe they can recapture a little of that eccentric small town escapist magic we need today more than ever.

I still want a Region A blu-ray release of the original series with the music intact, though. I know... dream on. But isn't that the point?
