I'd probably give it 2-3 weeks more leeway, but that's pretty much my feeling on it as well.

It probably won't be region coded, but I would wait for that to be confirmed before ordering. The other fly in the ointment may be that any SD extras will likely be PAL; depends how your display will cope with that.
