Carpenter's The Thing - it is an excellent DVD at the moment but it really does need the Anamorphic treatment.

Commando, Deep Impact and Big are avilable in anamorphic widescreen in Brazil R4 NTSC really cheap. True Lies was also available but it's now discontinued, though it can still be found on some retailers.

If anyone is interested in Brazil's R4 NTSC rare DTS or anamorphic titles check out the "Rare DTS and/or Anamorphic titles (Brazil R4 NTSC)" thread in the Regional DVD Area forum.

probably all have been mentioned but here are mine:

Armageddon
Abyss
The Thing
From Dusk Til Dawn
Happiness
Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1 and 2)
Office Space
Vertigo
Showgirls (not joking!)

funny thing is, apart from the Texas Chainsaw discs, the non-anamorphic versions don't look too bad. I actually thought Office Space was anamorphic until i realized my dvd player was scaling it. Same with the Thing and The Abyss.

For this list to be truly helpful, someone (*cough* Justin Hargis *cough, cough*) needs to create a master list, check it for accuracy, & frequently update it as people contribute new titles. Otherwise, it's just a bunch of random posts with lots of repeated titles.

While not my original intent, I went ahead and made the list Brian requested. I'll try to keep it up-to-date, but not guaranteeing anything.

Question on Leolo and Godzilla.

Has Leolo been released in Region 1 Marc?
-A search from Google didn't turn up much.

Which Godzilla are you referring to Dalton?
-If you're referring to the Blockbuster from 1998, isn't that anamorphic?

I added Broken Arrow and The Karate Kid. :)
