That's complete BS. Multi-region players are just as cheap as any other. And a lot of the discs I've been picking up lately are cheaper than R1 counterparts.

As far as movies that aren't available ANYWHERE in anamorphic widescreen...I'd have to add...

That's complete BS. Multi-region players are just as cheap as any other. And a lot of the discs I've been picking up lately are cheaper than R1 counterparts.

As far as movies that aren't available ANYWHERE in anamorphic widescreen...I'd have to add...

Well, a multi-region/region-free player is not on my priorites of electronic equipment so you can take your monkey business and put it in your tree. :rolleyes

I'm just wanting to limit this list to Region 1 so we can pay attention to it and get on the ball for this. Plus, we don't want this list going haywire now, do we?

Too late.

Scour the internet... there are already quite a few decent lists of the thousands of non-anamorphic-only discs.

I have Rob Roy & Forbidden Planet in anamorphic... Can anyone rate the quality of "JC's The Thing" and "12 Angry Men" non-anamorphic?
