Another tantalizing and infuriating blend of films I already have on very good DVDs which don't need upgrading and films which I don't have and would love to add to my collection!

These sets are a great way to upgrade some favourites and perhaps see a film for the first time.

I like the fact that the bonus features are "correct aspect ratios." That may be a first.

More seriously, there are a few British Noirs in this set that I've never seen, including one by Launder-Gilliat staring Arlene Dahl, based on a Winston Graham novel (who wrote the source novel for MARNIE).

That is odd, but amazon does this a lot. Then later they get stock after the release date.

I ordered mine thru DiabolikDVD.com they have it in stock and shipping.

    Currently watching Pickup Alley now

Thanks for that info. I just cancelled my Amazon order and placed the order at DD, saving over $10!

Funny. I didn’t have to cancel my Amazon pre-order. Amazon just sent me an email notifying me that they cancelled the order due limited availability. However, it’s still up for pre-order. I just ordered from DD.
