Hi
I am fairly a beginner in setting up home theater systems and I have minimal experience troubleshooting it, so it would be good to get some help from the experts on this forum.
I have a Pioneer VSX-522 receiver with Bose Acoustimass 6 Speaker system. Yesterday, the voices when I was playing a surround mode stopped working, basically the problem summary is as follows:
- No voice on all surround modes.
- Background sounds are all ok including music, background explosions, noise and even the surround is working fine.
- When playing on Stereo mode the voices are clear and Ok.
Here's what I tried to do but didn't work:
- I unplugged and connected all the cables.
- Reset the receiver to factory settings.
- Tried different inputs (PS4, Apple TV, Cable), all had the same problem.
Please help, I am not sure how to even identify what the problem is (whether it's speakers, cable, receiver..), and not sure which cases I should be replacing or trying to change.
Thank you.
