If the polyfill was glued to the port, it was there for a reason.

Without having all of the specs for the driver, enclosure and crossover, nobody can really say for sure if adding polyfill to your sub will make it better or worse. You can always try some out to see what effect it has.

hmmm i know why it was there ... i'll put it back on once i get the glue ... without the polyfill over port it makes it rattle when theres alot of bass annoying port noise .....i really like this sub just seems that the bass isnt that deep like .. thinking about pair it up with anotehr and runing each oen from the pre oiuts on my reciver it sounds really good when it picks up the freq's my towers dont they arent to keen on lows so the sub helps i think 2 of them would be better then one ... thanks about the polyfill thing :)

Polyfil makes the driver think it is in a bigger box, it would be hard to say about yours without knowing more, you got a clue however as they stopped your port from honking so they are aware of Polyfil, maybe there is a reason it has none. . .
