Is there a reason why KS will no longer be making movies with Jay and Silent Bob in them? Whats the skinny on this whole thing?

Perhaps he just feels the need to move onto something else.

Yea, I think he just wants to move on to more "serious" things. That's probably why View Askew 5 was so silly, he just needed to get it out of his system all at once.

Maybe you should ask this in the Movie section?

This discussion is best suited to the movies forum. I am moving it there...

Basically, he thought it was time to move on, and rightly so. Can you really see these flicks going on for much longer? Imagine Mewes at 50 trying to pull off the same stuff he is now-just sad... Nope, let em ride off into the sunset.

Besides, if VA5 was any indication of the future of Jay & Bob, then I'm glad that Kevin's moving on.

Has much as I'd like to see 5 more Jay and Bob films, its time. I'm glad he had the balls to give the fans a great...no no....MAGNIFICANT send off like J&SBSB! Thanks Kev for all the films and the ones yet to come.
