I've read various reviews and etailers specs - and IMDB - and there appears to be some confusion. Is the CE of Oliver Stone's Nixon anamorphic or not guys?

It's been shown in high def on Starz recently, so a new transfer already exists. I watched it for the first time, and I can't believe that Nixon had a hand in both Kennedy's assassinations! It must be true because Oliver Stone said it!

The director's cut is not anamorphic, but the theatrical cut DVD (a separate release is anamorphic, at least reg 1,4).

I don't know what R4 release you're talking of (I can't find it on any Australian sites - is there maybe a Brazilian release?), but the R1 theatrical cut disc is non-anamorphic.

Is the Dutch disc the director's cut? I can remove locked subtitles with my Pioneer 757.

Got Criterion's, Secret Honor disc this week. It's... great.

The podium rocks
And the crowd, it waves
The speaker talks of the beautiful saves
That went down long before he played this role
For the hotel queens and the magazines
Test-tube genes and slot machines
Where even Richard Nixon has got soul
Even Richard Nixon has got it...
Soul
