I work at Media Play, and according to our reservation list, the second season of "Nip/Tuck" is slated to be released on August 30. No other details are known as of yet, but it looks like those who've been waiting like myself can finally start to breathe a sigh of relief, as the best show on TV makes its way back to DVD with Season 2.

I got hooked on this show right in the middle of last season, and when it ended, I was highly depressed mainly because the cliffhanger that it left off on was simply genius. About two weeks later, I caught up on all of Season 1, which was amamzing as well, and the beginning of Season 2, which all blew me through the roof. Now I own Season 1 and have been waiting for Season 2's announcement. Now I don't have to wait anymore now that it is coming out.

Anyone else as stoked as I am about this?

Brilliant show. Hope it lasts well beyond season 3. With Julian McMahon in the upcoming Fantastic Four and all of the James Bond rumors surrounding him, he may be too "big" for show before too long.

Anybody know when the third season is supposed to start?

To answer your question Jason, a date has not been announced to the best of my knowledge, but in an issue of Entertainment Weekly, the rumor says it will be in the late summer. Best info I know right now.

Late summer sounds right. Probably mid-September (when the second season of Rescue Me ends).
