Nintendo registrations-any other promotions? (1 Viewer)

So there was a big fuss over Nintendo's online registration system with the Zelda disc earlier this year, but since then I haven't heard of any reason to punch in those codes. Have there just not been any promotions? I keep hearing about all of these cool japanese promotions, but we get nothing over here?

Hopefully there'll be something before Christmas. I'm holding off on activating my Mario vs DK and Metroid Zero cards until there's a reason to punch the codes in.

Nintendo is currently offering a "Metroid Prime 2 Echoes demo disk" for registering a GC and five games:
