I have 2 Nike Prestos, the Zip and Gym model.

They are hands down the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn and not to mention the lightest. These weigh less than most of the sandals in my house and are vented rubber mesh so they feel like you're just wearing socks.

The rubber soles on the zip are so soft it feels like you're not wearing shoes at all, not to mention the futuristic innovative designs.

I highly recommend anyone to demo them...

I feel like climbing walls and running from chickens when I wear them.

I used to have a real disdain for all things Nike...plus, they were too narrow in the toebox. I was a big fan of New Balance.
However, in the last 4-5 years, I've gravitated toward Nike and their trainers. Particularly their Air Max line - very cushioned and supportive for an overpronater like myself.
My last purchase was the Nike Air Woven. I decided to go a little frivolous with my last tax refund and pick up a pair of these:

I've not worn the Presto's, but the Air Woven's have got be the lightest and most comfortable pair of trainer that I've ever worn. It's like wearing a pair of socks.

The way these shoes are designed to fit your foot reminds me of Reeboks air Hurachis (SP??) from about 10 years ago. Seems like they were before their time.

I would love Nike except for their sweatshop plants in 3rd world countries that pay their workers pennies a day. Im sure other companies do it as well but Nike is one of the most well known. Just think, those workers would have to probably work a month just to buy a pair... [IMG]

    Hey now, those are cool!

Whatever you do, DO NOT BUY THE ADIDAS CLIMA-COOL shoes. Man, oh man, I bought those, used them twice at the gym and had to take them back. They had NO lateral support whatsoever. They DO keep your feet cool, which is nice, but the lack of support was really sad.
